I apologise for the absence of late but that exciting project I told you about a few months ago has been keeping me busy...Santa's workshop has nothing on me!
We will be back in the New Year with some new stock for you but in the meantime Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hurricane Sandy
Everyone has heard of and seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy on 29 October 2012 but whilst the news was at the time full of stories of the impact the Superstom caused, the media coverage has subsided yet the damage caused still remains.
United by Blue however are working to try to clean up the beaches after Sandy and providing support to the community torn apart by the storm and you too can do your bit to help!
These specially designed 'After Sandy' t shirts and hoody we're created to raise funds towards their efforts and 100% of the profits will go towards relief and clean up efforts. So why not do your bit and by yourself- or someone else- one of these and contribute to a good cause? They also ship internationally so no excuses!

Almond Surfboards
I love the simple colours, clean lines with the modern take on some vintage classics. It's like looking at sweets in a shop lined up like that, struggling to decide which you prefer more but knowing you can't have them all. I can't help but drool...just a little..
Keeping it Green
Independent surf brands in the UK are few and far between. Swami's is one such company whose ethos about sustainability and focus on craft and creativity is close to our hearts.
With a key of what process was used to produce each item you can see just how 'green' your t shirt is.
They also have a really cool selection of boards including one made from balsa.

Wetsuit Refashion
I don't know if any of you UK readers watched the Young Apprentice last night (basically a teenage version of the Apprentice) but I fell in love with this totally random dress they mae out of a vintage sleeveless wetsuit and kimono silk.
The task was to take old clothes and re-sell them at a profit whether it be as they are or by customising so the boys (yes the boys!) created this little number. Very random but I love it!

Happy Halloween
I love Halloween! Whilst it may be the signal that it is time to start wearing a winter wetsuit there is nothing better than eating toffee apples and watching scary movies in the dark!
I'm about to go off and carve my pumpkin but thought I would post these surf themed pumpkins I came across whilst looking for inspiration...

Hossegor 2012
Just a few shots of my visit to Hossegor in September, mainly of the Quik Pro. Unfortunately most of my shots are stuck in my broken SLR but luckily I had my pocket Canon as a back up so I could catch the Kelly v Dane final.
The Cribbar
Unless you were hiding under a rock yesterday in Newquay you will have heard and no doubt seen the Cribbar firing yesterday afternoon. The swell was big and as a result the waves were huuuge!! Here are some shots from yesterday.
