I love Halloween! Whilst it may be the signal that it is time to start wearing a winter wetsuit there is nothing better than eating toffee apples and watching scary movies in the dark!
I'm about to go off and carve my pumpkin but thought I would post these surf themed pumpkins I came across whilst looking for inspiration...

Hossegor 2012
Just a few shots of my visit to Hossegor in September, mainly of the Quik Pro. Unfortunately most of my shots are stuck in my broken SLR but luckily I had my pocket Canon as a back up so I could catch the Kelly v Dane final.
The Cribbar
Unless you were hiding under a rock yesterday in Newquay you will have heard and no doubt seen the Cribbar firing yesterday afternoon. The swell was big and as a result the waves were huuuge!! Here are some shots from yesterday.

Surf Camps
I had messed around in the water on a foamie for a couple of years not really progressing before I decided to go on a girls only surf camp. It was one of the best things I ever did!
Not only did I learn how to really surf and progress really quickly (the joys of having a uber supportive bunch of girls around you) I also made some great friends who I am still in touch with today. In fact a couple of us still make the annual pilgrimage to Hossegor together.
If you've never been to a surf camp then I highly recommend it, especially if you're a girl.

Toby Ray
Toby Ray is a local artist whose pasion is surf and sea based artwork. I particulary love the 'Interior' pieces he does that mix medias to give this unsual framed effect like you are looking through a window.
Toby currently has an exhibition on at Cafe Irie in Newqauy so fi you are in the area go and check it out and whilst you are there grab something delicious to eat from Irie's extensive menu. Their breakfasts are always a winner on a Sunday morning.

Girls Surf Competition
Whilst I will not be participating I will definitely be watching! It's nice to see a girl's only competition in Cornwall for a change.
